Callia Silverton 

(b. 1999) is a Canadian painter based out of Ontario. She works with acrylic and gouache paints to depict a wide array of subject matter, including vivid landscapes, and portraits of people and animal friends. Callia uses bright colours and an impressionistic style to capture atmosphere, allowing the viewer to step into the scene as if they were right there with her. Callia’s work has been featured in group shows across Ontario, including at the Tett Centre in Kingston, Ontario where she was a 2025 Tett Artist-in-Residence.

 

         Callia studied fine arts at Sheridan College before completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto and a Master of Science from Queen’s University.
